American Airlines Education Foundation Scholarship for International Students

The American Airlines Credit Union accepts applications for American Airlines Education Foundation Scholarship 2022. The American Airlines Scholarship is open to graduating high school senior or current college students with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.

Every year, the American Airlines Education Foundation is proud to care for our team members by awarding $2,500 scholarships to their children. First-generation college students can receive an additional one-time award of $1,000.

American Airlines Federal Credit Union is committed to helping all members reach their financial goals. The company recognizes that for many of its young member-owners, higher education is crucial. Therefore, the company offers a $4,000 scholarship for eleven members to invest in their future.

Although most of the 2022 applications can be completed via the online portal, official transcripts must be sent in separately. A judging committee will review completed applications.

The committee will review and select participants in line with their essays, academic achievement, letters of recommendation, leadership skills, and extracurricular activities, including school and community involvement, volunteer work, and work experience.

As stated earlier, applicants are selected on the grounds of essays, academic achievement, letters of recommendation, leadership skills, and extracurricular activities like faculty and community participation, volunteer labor, and job experience.

Additionally, the scholarship is available for graduating high school seniors or current college students.

Benefits of American Airlines Scholarship

There are 11 scholarship slots available. Out of the 11, six high school winners and five college winners will receive a $4,000 award each.

2022 American Airlines Education Foundation Scholarship Eligibility.

  • Applicants should be registered full-time in college, university, or trade school in the 2020 fall.
  • Applicants should not be considered a prior winner of almost any American Airlines Scholarship.
  • Also, applicants must have his/her account and be a member of good standing with the American Airlines Credit Union.
  • Applicants must either be graduating high school seniors or current college students with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.

How to Apply for American Airlines Education Foundation 2022

  • Applicants, who already have their accounts and are members of the Credit Union, can submit an online application form. For new applicants, simply create an account. If you already have a scholarship account, Log in to continue.
  • Entry Requirement: It is expected that you have a Credit Union membership in good standing in your name.
  • Language Requirement: It is expected that you have a good knowledge of the English language.

Supporting Documents Required

  • Upload two letters of recommendation.
  • Two essays not more than 300 words each.
  • A resume and a photo.
  • Parental Release Form, if applicable, for those under the age of 18.
  • An official transcript from your school should be sent to the American Airlines Federal Credit Union:

The 2021 application deadline has passed. However, you can check back in December for information on the 2022 application process.
