Applications are invited from exceptional students wishing to study in the United States to take advantage of the Boston University Trustee Scholarship 2022-2023 application which is open for students commencing their studies for the academic session.
Applications are encouraged for scholarships available for international students to pursue an undergraduate program at Boston University in the USA. Up to 20 scholarships are granted over the length of four decades.
Each year, Boston University welcomes approximately 20 outstanding students to the Trustee Scholars Program which has as its primary goal the sponsorship of undergraduate studies to scholars who demonstrate great academic and intellectual abilities.

Boston University Trustee Scholarships Requirements
In order to be eligible to apply for the Boston University scholarship, applicants must:
- Applicants must have obtained relevant high school certificates required for admission into an undergraduate program at Boston University.
- Applicants must be enrolled to study an eligible undergraduate course at the university for the referenced academic session.
- Applicants must be candidates who are intellectually and creatively adventurous and demonstrate viewpoints, experiences, or achievements beyond the usual.
- Applicants must be willing to abide by the guidelines governing the conduct of students at the university.
- Submit the Common or Coalition Application and all required materials for admission to one of the undergraduate degree programs at BU by December 1.
- Complete the Trustee Scholarship essay on the Common or Coalition Application as part of your application to BU.
Eligibility for Boston University Scholarship Essay
To be eligible for selection for this scholarship, candidates would have to meet the following criteria:
- Every year, Boston University welcomes approximately 20 exceptional pupils to the Boston Trustee Scholars Program. Many of our existing Scholars had perfect 4.0-grade point averages in high school and typically ranked in the top 5–10% of their class.
- Along with excellent academic credentials, Boston university trustee scholars are creatively adventurous and reveal views, experiences, or accomplishments beyond the usual. They are, to put it differently, not just high students, but exceptional folks. Boston university trustee scholars also become part of a unique campus community that provides many cognitive, cultural, and social opportunities.
- U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and eligible non-citizens are considered for all merit awards and other scholarships.

How to Apply for a Boston University Trustee Scholarship Essay
Submit the shared application for entrance to at least one of many undergraduate level programs at Boston University along with additional supporting credentials by December 1.
- Submit the Common or Coalition Application and all required materials for admission to one of the undergraduate degree programs at BU before the deadline.
- Complete the Trustee Scholarship essay on the Common or Coalition Application as part of your application to BU.
Scholarship Duration and Reward
