The Government of Russia Scholarships 2022 is Funded by the Russian Federation. In collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the winners of the Scholarship will be granted free study in Russia at any Russian University.
The 2022 Government of Russia Scholarships will be awarded to Pursue Bachelors’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. Degree Programs. Spain Government Approves Investment in Scholarships of More than 2,000 Million Euros. Postgraduate programs in any of the 500 Russian Universities.
One of the benefits of this scholarship is that it is fully funded and participants are also eligible for a stipend. It also has a wide range of available courses. Russia is also not an expensive country, hence the living expenses are very affordable for a student.

What the Russian Government Scholarships offer?
Your tuition fee will be paid by the Russian Federation. You will have to cover your travel and accommodation costs, insurance, and personal expenses.
Worth mentioning that, the minimum tuition fee in Russia is $1,750 per year. The maximum is $9,036 per year. The cost of studying for a Specialist degree in a medical university in Russia is on average $4,143-4,571 per year.
Government of Russia Scholarship 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Eligible to All the Nationalities Except Austrian Citizens. However, there are some specifications that you need to keep in mind. They include:
- Candidates must have completed 12 Years of Education for Bachelors Program.
- Must have Bachelors Degree for Masters Program and Have Bachelors and Masters Degree for Ph.D. program.
- For Doctoral Program, candidates should not be more than 40 Years Old (born on or after March 1, 1981)
- Candidates applying for Bachelors and Masters Program Should Not be more than 35 years old (born on or after March 1, 1986)

Application for the Government of Russia Scholarship 2022 ends on 10th December 2021. The Results of the competition will be announced on 25th December 2021.
How to Apply for the Government of Russia Scholarship 2022-23 Online

Applications for the Russian Government Scholarships are held in the form of an Olympiad that has two tracks: Master and PhD. The official languages of the Olympiad are English and Russian.
The Olympiad has two rounds for Master and three rounds for PhD:
- The first round is a competition of portfolios,
- The second round is a problem-solving challenge,
- The third round, for PhD candidates only, involves the selection of a prospective research supervisor for the chosen doctoral program and an interview with him/her.
Participants are requested to register online using the Olympiad registration system from September 15 to December 10, 2021. During this time, Participants should build their portfolio by filling in the necessary data and uploading the requested documents to their accounts. All supporting documents must be submitted in either English or Russian, or their translations must be provided in one of the languages of the Olympiad.
For the first round, only a motivational letter and education level proof is required.
The second round of the Olympiad is organized in a proctored form and is held from January 10 to January 28, 2022.
The third round, for PhD only, is held from February 28 to March 18, 2022, in the form of online interviews with potential research supervisors in accordance with the Olympiad schedule.
