Griffith Scholarships Description
Applications are invited for the Griffith Remarkable Scholarship to study at one of the best universities in Australia. The scholarships are targeted at exceptional students applying for undergraduate and postgraduate coursework studies at Griffith University.
The Griffith Remarkable scholarship covers 50% of tuition fees that will be deducted from undergraduate or postgraduate coursework tuition fees for the duration of the program. Each deduction will be applied by the Griffith University census date of each relevant trimester of the program.

Griffith Remarkable Scholarship Eligibility and Selection Criteria:
As mentioned earlier, the Griffith Remarkable Scholarship program is only applicable to international students, i.e., citizens of a country other than Australia or New Zealand. Therefore, applicants must provide a copy of their valid passports as proof of residency.
Apart from this, applicants must apply and secure admission in any UG/PG program at Griffith University. Applicants for the Griffith Remarkable Scholarship must:
- Be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand.
- Have a minimum GPA in previous studies of 5.5 or above on a 7 point scale or equivalent. Check your suitability in the Minimum GPA criteria (PDF).
- Have applied to study at Griffith by the scholarship application closing date.
- Satisfy all academic and English language entry requirements for your chosen undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program.
- Be a full-time student starting in Trimester 3 2021 or Trimester 1, 2 or 3 2022.
One must be applying for a relevant UG/PG program as a new student enrolling for any of the three trimesters at Griffith University.

- Apply for the scholarship by the closing date (see below). You will need to include academic records and a personal statement.
- A University panel will review your application.
- We will let you know the outcome of your application.
Griffith University Scholarships for International Students 2021 Application Form
To apply for the Griffith Remarkable Scholarship you will need to include:
- A certified/attested true copy of any supporting documents (educational certificates and academic transcripts) demonstrating strong academic merit.
- A Personal Statement that addresses why you have applied for the scholarship, the selected program of study at Griffith University, and any other information you feel strengthen your application for the scholarship.
This form will take you 5 to 10 minutes to complete.
Receiving the scholarship
- To receive the scholarship you will need to accept both your program offer and the scholarship by the deadline. If you don’t accept the scholarship by the date specified in your Letter of Offer, the scholarship will be withdrawn.
- Once you start studying the scholarship will be deducted from your tuition fees prior to the census date of each trimester. You must pay the remaining balance of fees, based on your enrolment, by the census date.

Griffith University Scholarships Terms and Conditions:
- Griffith University admission entry requirements apply
- The scholarship reward covers 50% of full-time UG/PG coursework tuition fees only.
- It is solely meant for international students who belong to a country other than Australia and New Zealand.
- One must be an International Fee Paying student to qualify for the scholarship and each scholarship deduction. Any change from International Fee Paying student status will result in the withdrawal of the scholarship.
- Students must remain enrolled in the program for which the scholarship offer was made. Deferral of scholarships is not permitted.
- One must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 5.5 on a 7.0 grading scale to qualify for each tuition fee deduction.
- The scholarship does not include online, non-award, research, and offshore delivered programs
The Griffith scholarships cover 50% of undergraduate or postgraduate coursework tuition fees only for the duration of the program. The course duration is defined as the Program Length as stated in your Letter of Offer, less any credit received for the previous study.
