International Scholarships at University of Surrey 2024-2025
Scholarships can cover 10 – 50% of the total tuition fee and will be awarded on a rolling basis. Candidates who apply early in the admissions round may have a greater chance of receiving an award.
University of Surrey International MBA Scholarships 2024-2025

Surrey MBA Scholarships Eligibility
In order to be eligible:
- You must hold a lower second-class degree or equivalent, alternatives may be considered, see entry criteria for more information
- You must be a UK, EU, or International student
- You must be studying full or part-time
- You must be self-funded or receiving a partial sponsorship or loan
- You must be studying for Full Time MBA or Executive MBA
- EU and overseas’ students must comply with the English language requirements (IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall grade with 6.0 in each element or equivalent)

University of Surrey Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship

The scholarship is awarded as either a £5,000 or £10,000 fee waiver. The scheme is application based and awards are decided by a scholarship awards panel.
Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship at University of Surrey Eligibility
This scholarship is open to self-funded International fee-paying students regardless of nationality or domicile. It is applicable for all taught masters programmes in the subject areas listed below:
- Chemical and process engineering
- Civil and environmental engineering
- Criminology
- Economics
- Electrical and electronic engineering
- Environment and sustainability
- Food, nutrition, and dietetics
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Politics and international relations
- Psychology
- Sociology
The closing date for this scholarship application is 30 June 2024 (for students starting in September 2024) and 30 November 2022 (for students starting in February 2025).
University of Surrey International Masters Scholarship 2024-2025

Surrey is pleased to announce that they will be running the University of Surrey International Masters Scholarship for new master’s students coming to Surrey in 2024 from seven different countries. The awards are named as follows:

- Surrey Pakistan Masters Scholarship 2024
- Surrey Turkey Masters Scholarship 2024

- Surrey Ghana Masters Scholarship 2024
Awards of £2,500 are available to all applicants holding a Surrey offer to study a full-time masters programme in February and October 2024, (except the Surrey MBA). All successful offer holders will be awarded a tuition fee discount of £2,500 on the first-year fees.
International Scholarships at University of Surrey 2024-2025 Eligibility
In order to be eligible, applicants must:
- Be domiciled in India, Thailand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Turkey, Vietnam, or Ghana
- Hold an offer for a full-time masters programme (except MBA)
- Meet all the conditions of your offer
- Be an overseas fee-paying student (this scholarship is not available for students eligible for UK fees)
- Be self-funded (you must be paying for your studies independently rather than being sponsored or in receipt of another scholarship. You may, however, also be in receipt of the Surrey alumni discount)
- Be registering for the first year of a full-time Masters programme with a February or October 2024 start date
