The University of Oxford is currently accepting applications for the Palgrave Brown Scholarship from highly talented and inspired EU students. This award aims to provide funding opportunities for undergraduates from certain Eastern European countries who need financial assistance.
The university will provide an annual grant of at least £12,158 towards living costs. Students undertaking a six-year medical degree would only receive funding for the first four years of the course.

To be considered for the grant, you must meet the given requirements:
- Students must be ordinarily resident in and/or educated in the following countries: Albania; Armenia; Azerbaijan; Belarus; Bosnia and Herzegovina; Bulgaria; Croatia; Czech Republic; Estonia; Georgia; Hungary; Kazakhstan; Kyrgyz Rep.; Latvia; Lithuania; Macedonia; Moldova; Montenegro; Poland; Romania; Russia; Serbia; Slovakia; Slovenia; Tajikistan; Turkmenistan; Ukraine; Uzbekistan.
- Scholarships will be awarded based on financial need, and academic merit will also be taken into consideration. As this is a partial award, priority will be given to students for whom this scholarship will make the most difference in being able to afford to study at Oxford.

How to Apply for University of Oxford Palgrave Brown Scholarship
- You must make an application to the University of Oxford for an undergraduate course through UCAS by 15 October 2023, and be successful in gaining a place.
- Details on how to apply for a scholarship for 2024 entry will be made available on this page in January 2024.
- For 2024 entry applicants who apply by the 7 February 2024 scholarship deadline, the selection process will be undertaken in March 2024.
- Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application in April 2024.
