Rotary Yoneyama Scholarship 2023 Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Rotary Yoneyama Scholarship 2023, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must be overseas candidates scheduled to enroll in a Japanese university/ graduate school for the 2023 academic session.
- Be pursuing a degree at Japanese universities or graduate schools.
- Show enthusiasm to study with clear future goals, awareness, and respect for cultural differences
- Applicants are expected to have Japanese language proficiency.
- Applicants must be born after April 2, 1978 (Under 45 years of age as of April 1 of the year the scholarship is awarded.
Rotary Yoneyama Memorial Foundation Scholarship for Overseas Value
- Undergraduates: 100,000 yen per month
- Masters students: 140,000 yen per month
- Doctoral students: 140,000 yen per month
Supplemental for Airfare：
Actual expenses to arrive in Japan up to 250,000 yen are reimbursed, after arrival in Japan. Successful applicants must submit all relevant receipts. Only the economy class fee is covered.

For fall enrollment: Scholarship payment begins in October (or September) 2023
Only for the first year of the scholarship, a supplemental of 400,000 yen is provided upon arrival in Japan.
