UNIL Masters Scholarship applications are open from suitably qualified international students for studies in Switzerland for the academic year 2022-2023
The scholarship is granted to international students for the minimum statutory period of the programme chosen by the student and provides a CHF 1,600 stipend every month for the complete duration of the masters studies.

UNIL Masters Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
To be considered eligible for the UNIL International Masters Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must have obtained a foreign university degree considered equivalent to a bachelor’s at UNIL before the commencement of the masters programme.
- Have distinguished yourself during your studies, especially through particularly brilliant academic results.
- Possess a language level of at least B2 (according to the European Language Portfolio global scale) in
- French or at least C1 in English according to the language in which your chosen masters is taught.

How-to-Apply: Interested and eligible applicants for the UNIL International Masters Scholarship 2022/2023 are to first apply for admission into the master’s degree through the Admissions Department.

Candidates must send their completed application (refer to the document, “list of documents to attach to your application”), unbound, by post only to the following address:

The application form must be completed on a computer and duly signed by the candidate.
The application for the Masters scholarship also serves as an application for admission to your chosen masters (and therefore an application to register at UNIL).

It is not possible to apply for the following programmes:
- Master from the School of Medicine
- Master of education
- Master of Law from the Universities of Zurich and Lausanne
- Master of criminal Law, magistracy specialism
- Master of Science in Physical Education and Sports Didactics
- Master of Science in Health sciences
- All MASs (Ph.D. programmes)
UNIL Masters Scholarship Application Requirements:
- Application form duly completed and signed.
- Passport-sized photograph inserted in the application form (in JPEG format).
- Copy of your secondary school diploma.
- A copy of your university academic qualifications.
- A complete curriculum vitae
- Two original letters of recommendation from the candidate’s lecturers.
- A cover letter.
- A copy of your passport or identity card.
