In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, the University of Northampton is offering three GREAT Scholarships for students starting in September 2022. University of Northampton GREAT Scholarships for International Students in the UK is valued at £10,000.
The GREAT Scholarships are available only to nationals of Brunei, Sri Lanka, and Turkey, who are holding a Conditional or Unconditional offer of a place for September 2022.
The GREAT Scholarships 2022 programme, launched by the British Council together with 41 UK universities, supports postgraduate students to access world-class UK higher education opportunities.

The scholarship programme offers financial support of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK. Students can apply for courses in a range of subjects, at the 41 institutions across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

Available GREAT Scholarships for International Students in UK 2022-2023
The University of Northampton is delighted to offer 3 GREAT Scholarships, each to the value of £10,000 (including a contribution of £5,000 from the British Council); one each for students from Brunei, Sri Lanka, and Turkey.
These scholarships are open only to applicants from Brunei, Sri Lanka, and Turkey, holding an offer in the following subject areas:
- Brunei – MSc Computing, MSc Public Health, and MA Education.
- Sri Lanka – The eligible subjects are MSc Computing, MA Education, MA English (Contemporary Literature), and MSc Public Health.
- Turkey – The eligible subjects are MSc Advanced Design and Manufacturing, MSc Public Health, MA Education, and MSc Computing.
GREAT Scholarship 2022/23 Application Eligibility
- Eligible Countries: Applicants from Turkey, Brunei, and Sri Lanka are eligible to apply.
- Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can undertake MSc Computing, MSc Public Health, MA Education, MA English, MSc Advanced Design and Manufacturing programmes offered at the University of Northampton can be applied for.
- Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
- The applicants must be students from Brunei, Sri Lanka, and Turkey, holding an offer in any mentioned eligible programme at Northampton.
- The applicants meet the academic or English Language requirements for your chosen programme.
How to Apply for University of Northampton GREAT Scholarships for International Students 2022-2023
To apply for one of the University of Northampton GREAT Scholarships 2022, you should be holding an offer for your chosen programme.
You should then complete the application form and submit it to the email address shown on the form by 24:00 UK time on Sunday 29 May 2022.

The University of Northampton will inform successful applicants only via email on or before Monday 13 June 2022. If you have not heard from us after this date you should assume your application has been unsuccessful.
Successful applicants will have until 24:00 UK time on Sunday 26 June 2022 to accept their offer. Failure to do so will result in the offer being withdrawn and the University of Northampton will offer the scholarship to another applicant.
