Here is how to apply for the University of the Fraser Valley International Entrance Scholarships 2021. Each year, UFV International welcomes more than 800 new students from over 70 countries around the world. UFV invites academic excellence by awarding many entrance scholarships every year.
This past year UFV International awarded over $400,000 in scholarships. The University of the Fraser Valley is a Canadian public university in British Columbia, which provides various academic degrees (bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, certificates, and graduate programs) in many fields such as agriculture, arts, social sciences, business, computer science, fine arts, health sciences, science technology, and more.
Types of UFV International Entrance Scholarships 2021
UFV is pleased to offer the following entrance scholarships for the year 2021:
- A $20,000 International Excellence Entrance Scholarship (Renewable) to 10 of the top international applicants.
- A $5,000 International Regional Entrance Scholarship to 30 of the top international applicants.
- A $5,000 British Columbia (BC) High School Entrance Scholarship to 5 of the top BC high school graduates.
UFV Entrance Scholarships University of the Fraser Valley Notes
Please note the following:
- The UFV entrance Scholarship selections are made on a first-come, first-serve basis. Applicants are encouraged to apply to their chosen program at UFV as soon as possible and provide a complete application. A complete application includes:
- application fee paid.
- proof of English language proficiency.
- official high school and/or post-secondary transcripts.
- No separate UFV entrance scholarship application is required. Eligible recipients will be automatically contacted.
- Scholarships will be issued as a tuition credit in the first semester of studies at UFV. The scholarship awarded ($5,000) will be posted to the recipients’ accounts upon successful admission to UFV.
- Short-term visiting and exchange students are not eligible for UFV entrance scholarships.

UFV International Excellence Entrance Scholarship (Renewable)
- Amount per applicant: $20,000 (over four years)
- Number per year: 10
Who is Eligible to Apply for International Excellence Entrance Scholarship
This scholarship is available to top international applicants who apply to study at UFV in their graduating year or have recently graduated with a minimum overall GPA (Grade Point Average) of 3.75. Preference will be given to applicants who have applied to a degree program.
Eligible recipients will be awarded $5,000 per year over four years. To maintain receipt of the yearly international Excellence Entrance scholarship, students must have a CGPA of 3.0 for the previous year’s studies.
University of the Fraser Valley International Regional Entrance Scholarship 2021
- Amount per applicant: $5,000
- Number per year: 30 (15 for Summer and 15 for Fall)
Who is eligible?
This scholarship is available to top international applicants who have applied to UFV in their graduating year or have recently graduated with a minimum overall GPA (Grade Point Average) of 3.0.
Regions for the academic year 2021:

- East Asia
- Latin America
- South Asia
- Open–Scholarships are available to applicants from countries outside of the regions already identified.
International British Columbia (BC) High School Entrance Scholarship
Amount per applicant: $5,000
Number per year: 5
Who is eligible?
This scholarship is available to top international high school applicants studying in BC or at a BC off-shore high school who have applied to UFV in their graduating year with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 on all grade 12 courses (minimum three grade 12 academic courses required).
University of the Fraser Valley International Entrance Scholarships Application process:
Candidates must upload and fill out the International Excellence Entrance Scholarship application to international@ufv.ca along with the necessary documents. Their email subject line should indicate “International Excellence Entrance Scholarship”.

Candidates must be admitted to the University of the Fraser Valley in Canada before beginning the registration procedures.
UFV Scholarships Required support documents:
- Two reference letters from present professors;
- Evidence of extra-curricular experience;
- After-school record.
Admission Conditions:
The University of the Fraser Valley International Entrance Scholarships 2021 applicants are required to have successfully achieved the Canadian Grade 12 equivalent: Form Six or five O-levels and at a minimum two A-levels, as well as the specific admission conditions for any professional, technical or academic program.
